Update on our Recent Activities

New Volunteer Listeners: We welcomed six new volunteer recruits who started work in May – this brings us to our optimum number of 36 volunteer listeners. New recruits are rota’d with a mentor for their first two sessions, and have a three-month review to check that they are settling in comfortably to the sometimes challenging role they have taken on.

New Trustees: The board of the Listening Service Edinburgh has welcomed two new trustees: Jill Stavert and Helen Hart (see About Us). This follows some amendments to the constitution including provision for additional trustees.
